Diamonds by Rothschild is Pittsburgh's full-service fine jewelry destination, located on the second floor of the historic Clark Building at 717 Liberty Avenue — a building that has housed Pittsburgh's jewelry trade since 1927.
Founded in 2013 by Henry Rothschild, the store was built on a foundation decades in the making. Henry's father, Efraim, began his career as a diamond cutter and polisher in Israel in 1964, and Henry grew up immersed in the trade before launching Diamonds by Rothschild as a place where Pittsburghers could access that same depth of expertise directly.

Our offering spans GIA-graded natural diamonds, colored gemstones, estate jewelry, fine jewelry from our in-house bench, and pieces from independent designers we've curated for quality.
If you don't see exactly what you're looking for, we'll design it from scratch. We start with a free consultation and a 3D CAD rendering you can refine before anything is made. Most custom pieces are completed within three to four weeks.

We are the exclusive home of American Diamonds - Refined.
This is our in-house collection of natural diamonds sourced within the United States, re-cut to optimize their light performance, and re-graded by the GIA.
They are 100% natural, fully traceable from the point of market re-entry, and produced with no new extraction.
For clients who want a natural diamond with a clear conscience, this is our answer.
